DEMCO ® PUR 4150 TOP COAT UV/S – CONDUCTIVE

Description

High-quality, two-component, acrylic aliphatic polyurethane-based electrically conductive coating system. It provides homogeneous electrical continuity on applied metal surfaces, helping to control electrostatic charge accumulation and safely dissipate it to grounding systems. It exhibits high resistance to UV radiation, atmospheric conditions, and harsh industrial environments. It delivers long-lasting corrosion protection together with permanent conductivity performance on steel structures, machine housings, vehicle superstructures, and metal surfaces exposed to corrosion.

When applied at the specified dry film thickness (DFT) and under proper grounding conditions, the coating system is formulated to meet the electrical surface resistivity requirements defined in EN 60079-0 Section 26.13.

Advantages

  • Exhibits high abrasion resistance.
  • Works in harmony with the applied surface.
  •  Does not crack.
  • Protects the applied surface against scratching, yellowing, and soiling.
  • Thanks to its UV resistance, it does not chalk or become dull.
  • Provides surface resistance values compliant with ATEX/TS EN IEC 60079-0 requirements.
