Description

DEMCO PUR 380 TOP COAT is a two component, solvent free, polyurethane based, elastic top coat paint. It has high impact resistance. It is used to protect concrete, wood or sheet metal surfaces against impacts. Atier the application, the paint film does not crack due to torsion or similar forces on the floor.

Surface Preparation and Application Method

The application surfaces should be free from oil, rust, dust and similar impurities. There should not be moisture on the application surface, there should be no loose layer leti. The shiny surface should be roughened with shot blast, slim or freeze. The prepared concrete surface should be primed with Solvent Free Epoxy Impregnated Primer DEMCO EPOX 100 PR in a way that it will be impregnated by considering the application instructions. Cracks and holes on the surface, if any, should be repaired using epoxy putiy. Polyurethane Top Coat Paint DEMCO PUR 380 TOP COAT is applied on the prepared and primed surface with a brush, roller or airless to form approximately 220 – 250 µ (400 g / m2) wet film, taking into account the application instructions. The surface is coated with UV Resistant, Solvent Top Coat Paint DEMCO PUR 412 TOP COAT UVS with a consumption of 0.150 kg / m2 in 1 layer in order to protect the surface from sun rays in outdoor applications and to protect the surface against scratches and dirt in indoor applications. ATTENTION! It is designed for horizontal floors due to its exceptionally good spreading feature; It is not suitable for use on vertical surfaces as it will cause sagging.

Storage and Shelf Life

It should be kept in its original, unopened package and in closed and dry places, which are at 15 – 25°C. It must not stay under direct sunlight. Under these conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.
